In Britain, King George V, Kitchener and General Sir William Robertson, the new Chief of Imperial General Staff, in full dress uniform wait on a saluting base next to a railway carriage. III. Kitchener on board a ship (no clear shot but probably a destroyer) leaving Dover for Calais. He walks on deck. IV. Kitchener in Britain inspecting a New Army battalion, probably of Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, volunteer motorcar drivers, and VAD ambulance drivers - this may by as early as 1914.
